Determination of deferasirox (anti-thalassemia drug) in serum and urine: cyclic voltammetry study

The purpose of this project is to examine cyclic voltammetry (CV) analytical technique for anti_thalassemia drug deferasirox by modified multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) on glassy electrod (GCE) was described. electrochemical performance studied technique. ability the electrode determination under Optimize condition in pH 13.8~14, scan rate 100mv/s, temperature 30 0C and interference that have been studied. Where found results calibration curve linear concentrations 13.4×10-4-2.6×10-2 M, its detection limit 8.46×10-11 M LOQ 2.82×10-10 M. enthalpy ∆H calculated be (6.736 kJ. mol-1), entropy can (213.8 J. K‐1 mol‐1). area 0.314 cm2 also diffusion coefficient 3.154×10-4 cm2sec-1. RSD% bulk form less than 0.3% while serum urine 2.5% recovery all close 100.1%. voltammogram give irreversible process with diffusion– controlled process. Finally, has applied pharmaceutical formulations biological samples (serum urine).
